It was finally the last day of the competition and the last competition of the season, it seemed like it went to fast.
All of the people on my team were so super excited to get back on the floor and really show what our team is made of. We got together early to get our chemistry together and work as a team. We all hung out around the convention center and then when the coaches came to get us, we went to warm ups.
We had the same warm ups as yesterday and we were once again happy with the way that the warm ups made us feel. We were ready to hit the floor and really show the crowd how we hit a routine. Walking out on the floor, the crowd was going crazy and you could tell how much they wanted us to hit. When we got to the stunt portion of the routine, we hit them with a little bobble in one, but we hit it! We were so happy, with the results that our coaches actually started crying.
We could not believe that they finally hit it, although it took us the last competition to do it, we hit it!
After we got off the floor, we went and took pictures with everyone and the coaches! At the awards, when they announced first place we went crazy and ran backstage to pick up the jackets we won! Every person on the team was so happy that we knew we made everyone proud! It could not have been a better weekend.

orlando week 2
Today is the day I left for Orlando and it was great! I was so happy we left on Friday instead of Thursday because I wanted to watch the Bay Babes competition and it was really funny.
My parents and I left around 9 o clock so that I could get there with enough time to get ready for the competition. When I got to the hotel, I changed as fast as I could and did my makeup! I had to be a the convention center at 5 o clock so I had some time to relax and have fun. I went to the pool with some people at the convention center and we were able to relax with them. It was a lot of fun.
Finally we went to the convention center and it was time to compete. We had one of the best warm ups we ever had and we were all super excited. The coaches were so happy with us and they really thought we had a chance to win after just our warm up.
When we actually competed, we did not do as well as we thought. We ended up dropping two stunts and a shoe fell off. Other than that, we hit everything else.
Unfortunately our coaches were not the happiest and they had a meeting with us 10 after we got the scores of the first day. Since the score distribution over the two days is 40 60, we still had a chance to win. They told us we were in second by only 1/8 of a point out of 7 people. We were so excited to get back on the floor tomorrow.

Orlando week
Today we only have one practice this week, and this is it!
We decided we were going to have a short and sweet practice since it is the last one for the season and we didn't want to have a really bad practice.
We first went outside to run our six laps and jump on the concrete. It didn't feel like our last practice since we were all having a lot of fun actually.
Once we went inside the gym, the coaches told us we were going to warm up competition style, warming up in the right amount of time and that is all the time we get. If we fall in warm ups its not their problem and we are moving on.
When we warmed up everyone was hitting perfectly and we were all really excited! We thought we could actually hit the routine for the first time in practice and have the coaches be happy we hit something. After warming up, we ran the routine once with only the pyramid going and we did fine since that is usually easy.
All us got water and prepared to run it full out, hopefully making the practice a one and done. When we got set we all pumped each other up and got ready. We FINALLY hit the routine in practice and we were soooooooooo happy! The coaches were actually happy with us and they let us go early, a half an hour early. But before we could leave, the coaches talked to us about the upcoming season and what they expected of us at the competition.
We were so happy that we didn't even care that they were kind of yelling at us to make it a good season.

ATLANTA 2
THe next day in Atlanta we went to the first day of the cheerleading competition and watched all of the teams. It was so much fun! It was only a one day competition so that really sucked, but we ended up doing a really good job. Although we bobbled a little in two of the stunts, we still were able to place top 2 and come in front of other people in the competition.
After we competed we all went back to the hotel and ran around trying to prank all of the different coaches.
I ended up stealing the coaches hotel key and we went all around their floor until we found the room. When we opened up the room the coaches were standing there and it sucked cause they knew we had their key. But at the end, we still were able to prank them by going in and stealing a bunch of their things.
Then after we went back to our room and cops came back and stood outside our room until we came out since we had noise complaints. We all pretended to sleep instead and they left after 15 minutes of waiting.
This competition was so much fun to experience with Gold and I was so happy to be able to go!
It was a good way to end the second to last competition!

ATLANTA
On friday I left to go to Atlanta for a competition and it was such a long drive.
I had practice on Thursday and right after practice, I went home to shower and finish packing. Right when I was done, I went to a girl who is on Golds house where we left for Atlanta, we ended up leaving at 12:15 which sucked! It was so late to drive that early that all of us in the car passed out and barely woke up for anything. Finally we made it to Georgia and we tried to check into the hotel. Out of all three rooms, only one was available at the moment so we had to cram into one room with all of the luggage.
After about 30 minutes of cramming, we decided we would go shopping at the underground shops. When we got there, we thought it was going to be much better than it actually was, but it was a good experience to do, since there are not things like that in florida. We only stayed about 15 minutes because it was kinda weird and we didnt really like the area.
Since we still wanted things to do, we went to the coca-cola factory, since we dont have that down here. It was an okay experience. Since I do not really like coke, I was not that excited to try the different flavors and most of them tasted so bad! I couldnt drink more than 3 sips before I felt like I was going to be sick! It was not good. Once we finished the coca-cola factory, we went back to the hotel to check in and see if our rooms were ready! I just wanted to take a nap by that point, I was so tired from the day!

DOUBLE PRACTICE
Yesterday I had practice for both teams and I really didn't even want to go. When I first got there, I was happy and all of us were ready to work but then when we started the atmosphere definitely changed.
First I had practice for Gold at 2 and we went over the routine and ran it full out a couple of times but our coaches were not happy with our progress so we were really upset. After about 2 hours, our coaches ended up kicking us out of practice and it was horrible. We didn't really know what to do because Panthers have never been kicked out before. Since a team called Senior White had practice right after Gold, the few panthers that are on Gold went out to lunch before the next practice.
We did not really want to sit there and have the coaches stare at us, so we went to a place called Crispers, where they sell sandwiches. During the lunch, we practically all talked about the things we could stand in that place.
Finally when we got back to practice, we were there a little early and we had to sit while most of the coaches just stared at us. But then when practice started again, the coaches were not happy with the teams before us so they were not in a good mood for ours.
Clearly, yesterday was not good for any of the teams and I didn't even go yesterday.

SUNDAY PRACTICE
Today I had practice for both Gold and Panther practice and it was so tiring.
First I had practice at 4 o clock and we needed to change the pyramid that they have been competing because it is not scoring as well as it should. Since we are going to an important competition, we need the most points we are able to get. After spending 2 hours and half on a new pyramid, all of us were extremely exhausted and he let us go home.
Unfortunately for me, I was unable to go home since I had practice right after which I defenitely not looking forward to it. My coach made us run 4 miles in the beginning of that practice and it was so annoying because I was extremely tired from the practice before that. Then after we did so much conditioning to work out. It seemed like practice was never going to end. Then at the time that practice was supposed to end, we were just starting to tumble. We ended up having to throw fulls which is a much harder pass than what we do now in our routine so it made us all even more mad. But the practice ended up being a good one and it helped us improve a lot.

Competition!
Today we had a competition and it as soo goood! It was at Broward Convention Center and we hit our routine the best we have ever it before. Also that day the little kids I coached competed as well and they ended up getting first. It was so nice! Because some of my friends are on a different team than me, I went out with their team for dinner and it was a lot of fun.
That whole day was just dedicated to cheerleading and I watched a bunch of different teams and hung out with my friends because my parents ended up not going to the competition because they had other things to do.
I know today was a short posts but there was not much going on for the competition.

WORST PRACTICE
Yesterday I went in early to finish filming the rest of my tryout video for Penn State and it went well. When I got home, I helped my mom put it together and I was very pleased with the overall ending of the video. Also, when I went to practice I gave them my WISE commercial project and they all loved it! The coaches were so impressed by my film making abilities, they might want me to make their tryout video for next year.
When I got to practice that night, my coach was extremely mad and he decided to make us go through a whole 2 hour conditioning practice because 3 people did not show up! It was the worst, we were in the dance room for an hour just working on legs and arms while he stood above us upset and criticizing us. We were all so tired. Once the gym was cleared out we went back out onto the floor and finished conditioning for the next 45 minutes. It seemed like it would never end! Lastly, he told us we had to hit all of our stunts or we would do more conditioning but unfortunately we did not do that in the beginning. Once we were able to get back into the stunts, as a team we hit them all together and we were so happy.
This weekend I have a competition so I hope it is goooddd!

MORE FILMING AND GOLD
Yesterday was actually very successful for my project! When I left school, I went home to change to start filming again for my Penn State video. This time, I did more angles of the same things I have already done, along with new footage of things I have not filmed yet. First, I did the cheer and jumps which I had not filmed before. After, I went back to things I have previously recorded but new I could do better. I did more tumbling (standing and running). Lastly, I recorded the dance I needed and it was great. I feel that video is really coming together and I hope I make the team.
I have an appointment today to get the last part of my film done which is stunting and then that night we are putting it all together to send it out tomorrow morning. I am so nervous.
Yesterday, I also had gold practice so I had to go and watch. Danielle and I did not get that much done because they were taking up the whole floor and they wanted quiet. We ended up leaving at 9 since our part in the routine is not until the last competition we did not have much to do. Everyone else finished at 9 45 but they did not care.
Hopefully everything I need to do today will get finished.

BAD DAY
Yesterday I had an appointment to film more footage for my college cheerleading tryout video but unfortunately I was not able to get things done. Since most of my coaches were out of town for their own cheerleading competition that only two coaches were left at the gym. My coach, Mike, said that I was able to come in early before practice and work on the video since he had a key. I was on my way when he texted us to cancel practice since too many people on my team decided they were too busy. Mike had told me I was still able to come in and tumble but when I got there, he had not left yet. He told me he was going to leave but I had gotten a call a half an hour later telling me his car broke down and is unable to get to the gym.
I had to drive all the way back to weston and he told me I can come in early today to film since the video is due. Therefore, I am leaving school at 1 and getting to the gym at 2 or 230 to get things done before I have gold practice.
Hopefully everything works out good today! (:

Cousins
Before my spring break had even started my cousins had come into town from Penn State. Because of this, it was hard for me to do a lot of cheerleading that was not scheduled for practice.
The first day I came in, I had let them relax because they had just gotten off a long plane ride. We watched some tv and talked to their father with my grandparents. Once my family got home form work, we went out to eat to a cuban restaurant and then went to yogurtland. We were very chill about what we did the first day.
The next day, I brought them shopping since Alanna had wanted to get some new jewerly for a dress she had bought and they loved Pembroke Gradens. We did not stay there long because they were really excited to go bowling. I had bought time to play two games and I ended up beating them both, even when we played a whole game backwards.
On saturday, we went over to the Mantuos house and we played Mexican Train Dominos, which Olivia was wanted to play for the longest time! Unfortunately, I had to go to practice for that night but the next day we had my grandfathers birthday.
On Sunday it was my grandpas 90th birthday and we had a celebration at his condo and a lot of people showed up. It was nice to see him in his comfortable habitat and he loved the celebration.

Competition
We had another competition but because it was a little competition none of us exactly cared that much on what we looked like.
The competition started at 130 and ended and at 430 so it was only three hours; therefore, my coach had told us we could wear our hair all up in a ponytail rather than the usual half up half down curls. Usually we had to wake up so early to get ready and curl my hair but I was able to get up when I actually woke up. It took a record 20 minutes to get ready for the competition instead of the 2 hours before that.
While we were are the competition, there were not many teams competing so we had to watch some teams and soon enough we were the ones on the floor. Since we were the most skilled cheerleaders at this competition, we were the last ones to go on the floor and then we had the awards. We ended up getting first like the rest of the Florida Triple Threat cheerleaders.
Unfortunately, after we competed Kelly had ran off the floor and nobody realized it until we could find her. We saw her walking with another girl Savannah and did not think anything of it but Kelly had actually broke her nose again during the routine. Because of that her sister and I went to go and help her, we ended up having to leave the competition early.
Although, we got first place, it ended up badly for some. ):

Before spring break
I had so much practice before spring break and it was really annoying because I just wanted spring break to start already! It seemed like every time I had down time, I had practice, it was really abnoxious.
But during the practices we had to change a lot of the routine because some of the girls were not going to be there for the the next competition. Although, I did not have to change anything personally, we had to get a new base for my stunt so that was not good. We had to rework the group and make sure it worked or it would have gone crazy for all of us at the competition.

GOLD
Last practice we learned to know that there is a spot available on Senior Gold for the Worlds competition and of course I wanted to try for it. When I went up to the coach, Danielle and I decided we would tell him we wanted to do it and he was really excited! He told us to come next practice to watch the routine.
So today at Golds practice, Danielle and I showed up and started to watch where we would be placed if we came on the team. After we got bored watching the team we started doing the skills in the routine that we needed for Gold. We were so excited that we had gotten some skills since we have never tried some before, all of the coaches thought we were so weird.
Once we worked on our skills, we started to make up random moves and put it to their music, we had everyone on the floor laughing. Because we were not doing much, we decided to leave early but we are so happy that we will probably be on the Gold team (:
But we still have practice for Panthers tomorrow!

GOOD PRACTICE
Todays practice was much better than most of the practices that we had this year and it was a good change.
At the beginning we ran outside while we raced the other people on the team so we did not have to run an extra lap around the park near the gym. After each person finished their laps, we stayed outside and jumped on the concrete. Unfortunately we have been doing this lately. I am not able to jump very well on concrete but we took 30 minutes from our practice to jump. We always have to wait for the younger kids to get out of the gym and work hard. Finally, after all of the teams left and we had the gym to ourselves we moved back inside.
From the start it seemed like Rudy was not in a good mood, but it was because he was just frustrated with the younger teams. We warmed up by just doing 5 backhandspring backs and did a work out exercise in between to get stronger in that skill.
Since we needed to change some things in our routine, we went to the pyramid and fixed it considering Kelly had broken her nose from it at the last competition. Even though we kept a lot of it the same, it has been hitting much better and I am very happy with it. Our back spot was not here today but we hit it with one of the coaches backspotting.
After we hit our pyramid we hit our stunts with a new skill and we were so happy because it was the first time my stunt had tried it and we hit it six times in a row. We were so happy! I cant believe we had hit and our whole group was amazed, even our coaches!
At the end of practice, I stayed after and filmed some of our tumbling and it was good, I landed my skills. Although I didnt get all of the footage I wanted, I got enough for now.
This practice was really good although we ended later than usual but it was still nice. (:

FINALLY BACK
I am back from spring break and I hate being back in school but I have still been working my WISE project. Yesterday I had gone to tumble to work on my college cheerleading video and it has been working out really well. Over the weekend I had started to film me stunting with my coaches.
I watched Miami Elite practice since some of my old cheerleaders that I coached are now on that team. I tumbled a little bit in the beginning but once their practice started, I had to stop.
My midterm project/commercial for wise is due on monday and I am getting a head start on it. I have my song picked out and I hope that I finish it early so I can turn it in and make sure that everything is good to go.
Sorry this entry is a little short, I am still getting back into the mode.
I watched Miami Elite practice since some of my old cheerleaders that I coached are now on that team. I tumbled a little bit in the beginning but once their practice started, I had to stop.

DAY FOURTY
On Saturday my team had practice in the morning at 11. We warmed everything up and we ran the routine full out after we fixed everything we needed to. Unfortunately we also had competition that night which sucked since we already worked out.
After we got home, I took a nap before we started getting ready. We watched Spongebob unfortunately considering it is my least favorite show and then started to curl my hair. Since I let other people curl my hair, it turned out pretty bad but I didnt really care. Since it was a small competition, it seemed like it didnt matter.
This competition we actually won and it was really happy for us since we went against 6 other teams. Unfortunately one stunt kinda dropped but we were still happy how well we did.
The next day, we had another beach fundraiser and it was a little windy. Since most of the team didnt show up, the people who did actually gets more money. After two hours, it started to rain and we ended up going home. Finally I was ready to do homework and clean my room.
The real world starts again.

DAY THIRTY EIGHT
On Saturday and Sunday I finally competed in Dallas for the 8th time since I started cheering and I still love that competition.
Unfortunately, on Saturday we had to wake up really early to watch our little sisters compete and congratulate them when they did good. After the first day, they were in fifth even though they hit a pretty good routine. Each of the little ones were really happy because none of them have been to Dallas and it was cute to see them so excited.
Finally after they competed we took a bus back to the hotel and Panthers got ready for their competition and it was so nice. We relaxed while my mom brought up lunch for us as we curled our hair. We had to do mine twice because they tried doing it last night but Kelly and Danielle definitely do not know how to curl hair!
After three hours of hair and makeup finally getting done, we left to go back to the competition. The first day when we competed we warmed up and we did so well. But when we went on the floor, the two outside stunts had fallen. All of our hearts sank at that moment but we still finished the routine.
The next day we did the same routine, watched the little ones, got ready, and then competed. Sunday at the competition, we did much better the first day. One stunt bobbled and the pyrmaid was a little shaky but it was much better. Everyone was very happy that we "hit" the routine but we still didn't win. I figured we were not going to win but we were still happy to do well.
After we got our placing, we went to the arena again and watched the other level 5 teams! It was so much fun and we loved it.

DAY THIRTY SEVEN
I know I have not written in my blog in a while, I have been in Dallas Texas for a cheerleading competition.
I left on Thursday in the morning at 8 30 and it was brutal. Waking up that early to catch the flight was really annoying but we made it. I flew with my mom, Kelly, and Danielle. When we got on the plane, all three of us were so uncomfortable that we tried sleeping in so many positions. In the end, Danielle ended up sleeping on the floor of the plane, while I slept against the wall and Kelly slept on me.
Unfortunately, it was a connecting flight so we had to get off in North Carolina. The airport in North Carolina was really pretty although we were only there for about 30 minutes. We ended up getting pizza and running on the plane to eat it.
Finally we got to Texas and we checked into the hotel. The hotel we stayed in the first night is the same hotel World Cup was staying at and it was beautiful! It was so nice that we ended up going to the gym and working out.
After running and doing abs, we took a shower and went out to the marketplace and restaurant area near our hotel. Unfortunately, there were not many stores, we went to Fridays to eat some food and walked to CVS to get some things we forgot to pack.
When we got back to the hotel, we wanted to go to the gym one more time but we were so tired, we took a power nap. The power nap ended up becoming a 14 hour sleep not waking up till the next morning at 9 30.
The next morning, we woke up and got ready to go the Dallas Aquarium. All three of us love aquariums and we though it was going to be a normal one but, it ended up being one of the best aquariums I have been to. I was really excited to see the sharks and the otters because they are my favorite sea animals. It was a three story aquarium with some animals not found in the ocean such as a leopard and tree kangaroos.
After the aquarium, we moved into the new hotel and got ready for practice that we had that night. We didn't exactly want to go to practice but we knew we had to. The practice ended up being one of our best practices and the head supervisor at our gym had tears in her eyes. She was so proud since we tried so hard in that practice. Also, before practice each panther member was paired up with a cub girl (little sisters). I was paired with someone who I started coaching four years. I love her and she was so cute!
I saw my old cheer coach that I have had for 5 years and taught my everything. It was great to see him and he actually staying at our hotel so it was really nice. We talked about how much I have grown up since he coached me and how proud he was of me.

DAY THIRTY
Yesterday at practice was so succesful! We came in and made sure everyone knew their dance spots because one person had been changed earlier that practice. After that, we warmed up the routine as if we were at competition. Although some things were not going the right way, we went passed it and hoped it hit in the routine. We watched senior Gold and Cubz Gold before we went full out and they had performed well as well. When it was our turn, he had performed our routine the best that we have ever done up to date this far! We felt so accomplished and so happy.
Before practice Danielle and I went early to pull another prank on the coaches. We had written different notes to our coach on every single sticky note that we could find. Once we got to practice we went to started to sticky note the entire car! It was so good, when we heard that we were doing it, he came outside and he just started laughing. He had told us "that is pretty good but the war is on." Too bad, we are in the lead with us 2 and they have 1. Everyone was talking pictures it was so funny, they couldnt believe we actually did it.
Today I am leaving for Dallas with a few other people on my team and I am so excited, my plane leaves in 2 hours so we will be there 2 days early! I hope we do so well in Dallas and I know we can hit it.
This is a picture of one side of the car that we sticky noted with Danielle and I on top. (:

DAY TWENTY NINE
Yesterday at practice started out really well. At the beginning we taught some of the girls their new spots for the dance since we needed to fix it a little bit. Also, we fixed up the routine once again because one girl was not able to get a flight to Dallas.
After that we warmed up our routine and ran it full out like as if we were at this competition. It was good until we ran it full out our last time because people thought it was too hard and started crying. People on my team are drama queens and need to just relax and work hard. But I have practice today so hopefully it will get better by then.
This is a short entry since yesterday was not that good but we will do better and keep you posted!(:

DAY TWENTY EIGHT
Yesterday we had practice with the two other teams that will be going to Dallas this weekend for a competition. The three teams that are going are Cubz Gold, Senior Gold, and my team, Panthers.
When we got to practice, they had planned many games for us to play for us to work as a team and Panthers ended up winning both games. It was funny since we havent won first place at the two competitions that we have already been to.
For the first game the coaches made a square on the floor and each person on the team had to get inside the box and stay there without falling it out. It was really funny since we had everyone on top of each other and we squeezed. It was hilarious about hoe jammed packed we were. The next game we had two mates where we all had to get across the floor with each person not touching the actual floor. It was funny since, we were the only team that actually accomplished it and it took an hour.
After that since we needed to finish revising our routine we finished that and ran it full out. We hit every stunt with a full up and we all felt really good about it.
Once we finished practice, our coach took us outside to "talk" to us but since we had pegged water balloons at them at the last competition they decided to get us back. Rudy and Junior decided to take the water balloons and get us. Unfortunately they had hit every single one of us who were a part of the prank and a few others. But it is okay since we already have a plan for them for the next competition prank.

DAY TWENTY SEVEN
Today was actually a lot of fun! Since we needed to raise money to go to Nationals in Dallas next weekend we went to the beach and did fundraising there.
We all wore black sports bras, black sliders, and a black bow which made us look like a team and actually feel like a team. This fundraiser definitely brought us closer together and it was a fun way to do it.
When we go to the beach we started doing stunts for the crowd that was enclosing on us as well as tumbling. We did stunts, pyramids, and tucks and fulls. Everyone loved us and we ended up earning 600 dollars even though we were only there for 2 hours. We felt so accomplished and it was exciting that we all bonded so well.
We ended up taking pictures with many of the people and we felt that a lot people were so supportive of us.
Also, when we stunted, not one of the stunts came down once and we hit every tumbling pass. It seems like we did so well and we even performed on the stage at the beach. Not one person fell in tumbling and each basket/pyramid/ and stunt hit perfectly.
It seemed that we bonded so well and we are now a team that works together! Today worked very well and people even decided to give us half prices on drinks and food.

DAY TWENTY FIVE
We revised today at practice and although it is pretty boring when we just change things around, it was not a bad practice and we still got a lot of things done!
In the beginning, it started out a little slow. We did stunts over and over again and then we went straight to working back in the new girl who we got last practice as well as the people who were hurt and could not compete with us last competition.
Because some of the people did not get put into their old spots and were actually really upset with the coaches, they explained that it is not all about them and they need to realize it is about what will look best on the floor.
We ran our routine six more times full out up to the point where we stopped working and changing things in it. Every time I did the routine I hit everything that they needed me to and it was really rewarding.
At the end of practice, my coach asked if I wanted to be a part of the stunt group team which I said yes to. There are 5 people on the floor and we do a whole routine of stunts. It is only going to be the last competition so that is good.

DAY TWENTY FOUR
Yesterday before practice I went to a pilates class instead of triforce class because it was full. I wanted to take the usual triforce class but there were already eleven people in the class and when I got there was still room for the pilates. I thought it was not going to be hard at all but it was still challenging at certain parts.
After this workout I went straight to cheerleading practice and it was actually a good practice. Even though we were missing three people from our team and they were practically core people, we decided to work out as well. After working out every core part of the body, our coach did an intense stretching with us. He worked with each of us to make sure we were getting a real workout since we could not do much as a team such as stunting.
Once we were stretched we did standing tumbling and jumps which was a lot of fun because it was very chill. Our coach was having fun with us rather than demanding like he usually is because we were all paying attention. he put on music and we danced as we did running tumbling and this practice was more of a team bonding which made it so much easier tog et through.
After watching the team who was practicing at the same time, he told us to circle up at the right time. We were all so happy we got out at the right time!
This practice was one of the best practices we needed.

DAY TWENTY THREE
Yesterday I had practice and we decided to make it earlier than normal to get things done. Even though everyone got there at 6, we did not actually start practicing till 7 (our normal time). It seemed like there was no need for us to come that early but it was nothing that we could have changed. But when we actually started to practice, it ended up being a pretty good practice.
We got a new girl who came in and she became on of our flyers which was really good. The flyer tried her best and it seemed that she was definitely a part of the team.
We practiced all of the stunts most of all and did jumps to tumbling as well. We hit all of our stunts and we did really well on the jumps. It seemed that this practice as actually really good and our team is moving in the right direction.
Also, our coach decided to make a fundraiser for us on the beach that we all have to go to so I hope that goes well and we all bond as a team a lot better. It seems that our team is not bonding and meshing together so I hope it all works out for the better of us.

DAY TWENTY THREE
This weekend was actually one of the best competitions that we have competed at this season. We ended up getting second which was surprising from the route the team looked like it was going. We were ecstatic when this happened but we did not know. When we were back stage, Tina had unfortunately hurt her knee on the last warm up mat but was perfectly fine before we went on the floor she was walking it seemed normal. But when we went actually on the floor to compete, she fell apart. In the opening stunt and the pyramid she almost fell and she only threw tucks. Also, since there were two other people sick on the team, they were out of half of the routine because of being disoriented.
Once we got off the floor, we thought we had done much worse than we actually did and people from the team just decided to leave the whole competition all together. This made the coaches very upset with them and caused them to become even more upset with us all together.
The competition was in a Tampa fair it was a lot of fun. At the hotel, we decided to fill a whole bathtub full of water balloons and let them loose on the coach when he came into our room. Our hotel room was soaked and the bathroom was practically a swimming pool. By the end of the fight, he was soaked and had to actually put his clothes in a dryer. This competition was a lot of fun and hopefully after the team talk we had on Sunday at the competition will help us with practices.

DAY EIGHTEEN PART 2
Lately I have been so tired and barely want to do anything because of all of the things that I am doing. -- I almost just want to shut down for at least a week but I know I can not.
Because my coach decided to make practice earlier for today at six instead of seven, I went to another triforce class to work out before. Although I had taken one yesterday, I had a new teacher today and only one other lady was in the class with me. So there was a lot of new activity and workouts for us to do. (Definitely a challenge!)But I got through it and hopefully it will work for me in the long run.
After my class I drove to cheerleading, although it took me a half an hour to get there since it was rush hour even though I was only an exit away. I still made it in time for cheerleading even though it would have made a difference. We ended up sitting in the dance room for 20 minutes not doing anything. Also one of the girls on the team did not have a ride and so I had to go and pick her up. My car ended up breaking down 4 times on the way to get her and back! It was horrible.
Finally we made it back a little after seven and started doing the routine. We taught some of the new people the dance in the dance room. After about an hour of that, we stunted and tumbled. That wasn't as bad as it could have been although my stunt ended up not doing so well.
Lastly, we learned a new pyramid once again but that is when the team started to disrespect each other and yell all around. Unfortunately it did not end so well and it could have been better, we did get out of practice at 10 which was better than I had supposed.
Now since we didn't finish everything we wanted, we have practice tomorrow before we leave for competition on Saturday, I just hope it goes better than this weeks practices have been going.

DAY EIGHTEEN PART 1
Before I went to practice I went to my gym and took a class. I took tri force so that I can keep getting in shape and stronger for cheerleading tryouts coming out for college. It was tough but it was a good thing and I will keep going back! People are really nice there and this has been my favorite gym that I had joined.
Yesterday was one of the most pointless practice that my team has ever had. We did not get anything accomplished even though half of the people wanted the practice. The people who decided to have practice that day, did not even show up at all. Many of my teammates decided that they had some better things to do and to even go shopping. I hate how our team decides to just take everything for granted although they asked for it.
Because there were so many people missing from practice we had to practice in the beginning with Gold Girls so there were so many people and things going on. Once they started to throw their routine full out, Panthers went off to the side and did some things that we can do my ourselves such as jumps and tumbling. Out tumbling as a team was strong this practice and we tried to fix things that we can.
Once we finished tumbling, we tried rearranging the stunts to put them up that practice but instead they just kept coming down. As a tea collectively we were missing about 2 people form each stunt group so when we tried to get the smoothness from before it didn't happen the way we wanted to.
In the end, the practice did not work out the way that any of us wanted. Instead, it ended up being a frustrated and annoyed practice for most people.

DAY SIXTEEN
Today was going so well until I started doing things for my WISE experience. :/
My sister and I went out to Panera for lunch and went to Yogurtland after. It was good for her and I to catch and have some time together since we usually do not.
Unfortunately, when I left for practice with Danielle and Kelly we did not know the hardships and nonsense that was going to occur at practice. It started out pretty good with every one doing jumps to back and hitting their stunts the way that it was needed. We went to my pyramid and Tori was having a lot of fun with the new ending since it was her favorite. -- But soon that would all change.
The coaches told us to run the routine full out since our competition in Tampa was coming up. We needed to be ready and by running the routine full out over and over again it will only help us and get us prepared. After our first run through, we dropped one stunt and some people did not throw some of their tumbling passes but it was not one of the worst times we had done it. Because the stunt did fall, the coaches wanted Tina's stunt to go up while they were still tired to hit it but thats when things went wrong.
Tori was not happy with the way the coaches were talking/treating her and therefore started to yell and give attitude back to the coaches which in the end, they were not going to take. For about five minutes there was a battle between the coaches and Tori and after it was over Tori decided to walk out and quit on the team. It was horrible, everyone on the team was so frustrated and couldn't believe that she had done this three days before we left to go to a competition. The coaches had given her so many chances and she still decided to do this but the rest of the team tried to make it better.
We changed the first part of our routine to accommodate for the missing person and since one of the team mates that was filling in for one with a concussion had just hurt herself jumping we needed to move some of her spots as well. We stayed an extra 45 minutes past scheduled practice trying to fix our routine and only got a certain part done but at least we are on a roll and are ready to change.
Hopefully the next two days of practice be good and will help us to win Tampa this weekend.

DAY FOURTEEN
SO today was brutal at practice. We started practice at 5 in the afternoon and did not end until 9 30. This totally sucked because it was right in the middle of the Superbowl so I missed everything but 4 minutes of the end. But since we needed the practice because two of our teammates got a concussion, I sucked it up and went to practice.
At practice two girls decided to help us out and fill in for the other girls who were hurt. Because of this, we had to go section by section and make sure they knew their part and understood what was going on. With out this, they would be lost. I hate putting in new people because it is so boring and we have to go step by step. Also, the new girls needed to learn the stunts as well and the coaches decided that they wanted to change some parts of the routine so it was super annoying.
The coaches were not in a good mood today either, which definitely put a downer on all of our moods. Although, we came in and we hit our stunts with the new girls, they still were not happy. My flyer did really well today and has been stepping it up! Its like she is a totally new person when it comes to flying. But once again, the coaches had something to be annoyed about and not be happy about anything. It always seems like they hate to coach this team but whatever. We tried our best through practice and ended up getting through everything but the dance.
I happy we got a lot done but I wish the coaches would be more open minded and not be so annoyed with us all the time. OH! and we only had one 5 minute break from the 4 an a half hours that we practiced. Today just wasn't that fun.

DAY ELEVEN
These past couple of days have been busy for cheerleading.
I had practice on Wednesday, even though it is usually not a day that we practice. The team decided to have practice and work together the way that we wanted. But one of the coaches actually tried to help us even though none of us wanted him to. Once he started working with us we hated it and didnt want to practice anymore. But we pushed through it and tried to make the best out of the situation. For some reason, during that practice I was so out of it and I couldnt keep myself concentrated. Before this practice, I came in a little early and did P90X Ab Ripper which made my coach very happy.
On Thursday I had practice once again but this practice was much better. We came in and worked hard the whole practice. The only thing that didnt go right that practice was that two people didnt show up and two had to leave early. But other than that, the people there was working hard. This practice my stunt group hit the new stunt multiple times since my flyer does not always hit. Also, in this practice I stayed after and worked on new tumbling that I have never done before which was really good.
Today, I went to the doctor because of my shoulder due to my flyer. Although, there was not anything exactly wrong with it except bruising tot he muscle, we thought we would check it out. Now whenever my flyer comes down, I move away so she doesnt hit my shoulder anymore. Because of the constant impact, my shoulder has been lowered lower than the other ):

DAY EIGHT
Tonight I had another practice where the team really pulled together to work as a team since we seem to not exactly know how to do that. After having a talk to the team mates and one of our coaches, Kevin, we also talked to other coaches as well for a little bit of the practice on how we need to pick it up and actually change our attitudes. Although, we had a talk and we were a little frustrated at the moment, we were able to get pumped and worked for the rest of the night. Also, at the end of the day the coaches let us know that we are going level 4 for Tampa and Dallas competition, instead of level 5. But after that we should go back up to our high level. Before practice my carpool, Kelly Danielle and I, all went in early to do some extra tumbling and do P90X- Ab ripper. We wanted to go in early to get a head start on getting more on track.

DAY SIX
Today I had a cheerleading competition in West Palm Beach at the Cruzan Ampitheatre. Unfortunately, we did not do our best at this competition and it showed. We had not thrown our routine full out since the last competition so it was represented through our routine today. When I had gone to the competition in the morning it was very boring since we had to sit through the young kids. There was a fair next door, so we tried to go leave the competition and go there but my coach caught us. Once we got to awards we had wamred up really well and it most of the things that we needed to. We tried very hard and our coaches were having fun with us and joking around. Then when we got on to the floor to compete, our music had messed up so it definetely shook up some of the girls nerves on my team. Once that happened, we had dropped a stunt and our pyramid was shaky because the middle stunt had fallen. Unfortunately, we ended third and did not make it into the match play section.

DAY THREE
Today was the third day of wise and it has been great so far. I have decided to do my project on cheerleading, although the specific aspect is still undecided. Yesterday after school I had gone to the doctor to get an x-ray on my shoulder since my flyer has hit it WAY too many times. Due to that, my sister assumes that I have torn a ligament in my shoulder and I have bruises everywhere. But because I am not eighteen yet, I was unable to get the x-ray needed so I made an appointment to go on Friday.
Today I had practice form 6:30 to 9:30; this is one of our weekly practices. Since, we have an upcoming competition on Sunday we have been working extra hard during practice and I have been coming in early to get a head start. During practice our pyramid has been a little shaky and our hardest part of the routine to hit. I have also booked my flight for the Dallas competition and figured out the plans for the upcoming Tampa competition in two weeks.
These past couple of days have been full of cheerleading and it will only get even harder from here.

DAY ONE
Today was my official first day of Wise and I am definitely really exited. Although I stayed in school during fourth hour, I learned all about what the project will truly be about. Coach Love and Mrs. Stoklosa went through a large packet that tells me a step by step process of what to do. The meeting went well and at this time I was able to see what other people were doing for their project. At this time, I want to do architecture or Interior Design but I am also leaning on doing my project on competitive cheerleading. I want to do architecture because it is something I want to do when older, but competitive cheerleading consumes a big part of my life and takes up a lot of time. I know I will figure it out soon but I cant wait till I actually start my process tomorrow.
